Dr. Erin Cantwell
Dr. Erin Cantwell is originally from Virginia and received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in Animal and Poultry Sciences. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. From a very young age Dr. Cantwell was always interested in animals. Touching the cat was her inspiration for crawling. As long as she can remember she wanted to be a veterinarian and her passion for animals has never wavered. After graduating, Dr. Cantwell was at a high volume practice for several years in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she developed a particular interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery and exotic animal medicine. During her free time, Dr. Cantwell enjoys yoga, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Her furry family includes Morgan, a lab mix; “one-eyed” Lilly, a boxer mix; Mindy, a tuxedo kitty; and Sherbert, a Jenday Conure.
Dr. Haylie Hendershot
Dr. Haylie Hendershot grew up in the Cajun heartland. She was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. She has always loved animals and surprisingly has no scars from carrying her neighbors Siamese cat around backwards and riding their Akita dog. She has owned and cared for all kinds of animals from hamsters to horses. She completed her undergraduate studies at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA with a B.S. in Animal Science. She furthered her passion for animals by achieving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Hendershot's interests include emergency medicine, preventive care, and client education. On her days off Dr. Hendershot enjoys reading, going to the beach, and reading at the beach. Dr. Hendershot's furry family consists of three dachshunds (Lilly, Piper, and Princess Leia) and a betta fish.
