MARGARET KENNEDY, Veterinary Assistant
Certified Veterinary Technician Candidate
You are probably used to seeing Margaret in our front desk Client Relations position since we joined Brandt Veterinary Clinic in 2009. With her experience training as a Certified Veterinary Technician, it is a natural fit that she move into the back of the hospital where she is now caring for your pets, giving vaccines and running labwork. Here she is with her best friend, Mugzy. (Don't tell her husband, Jason!) It is because of Mugzy that she left the mortgage business and has gone back to school nights to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Margaret also produces our newsletter, "The Critter Chronicle". She has been with animals all of her life, starting as a child at her grandfather's farm, then as a teen volunteering at the local humane society shelter and farm, and as an adult, working for a boarding kennel and showing Akitas. Her interest is in animal behavior and she loves to learn. Being in the veterinary field really allows for that. When asked what Margaret likes best about Brandt Veterinary Clinic, she says "It's the feeling that all of our pet patients and parents are part of my extended family. It is wonderful having such a large 4 legged family."!
BRANDY CREECH, Client Relations Specialist
She joined Brandt Veterinary Clinic in December of 2010, having perviously worked for a veterinary mobile vaccine clinic. Brandy realized that the care she was able to provide in this situation was not the best care she felt furry family members deserved, so she joined our AAHA Accredited practice. She relocated from Ohio to Florida last year to escape the cold and have some fun in the sun! A graduate from Sinclair Community College in 2008 with an Associate's degree in Business Management, Brandy plans to continue her education in business. Brandy has always been a pet parent including many exotics such as; dingo's, hawks, snakes, and sugar gliders! Her best furry friend is a stray rescue named Baxter, who is a large Maine Coon mix kitty, and quess what? Brandy just adopted a 7 month old mixed breed rescue name Yuki. When not at work, Brandy enjoys spending time cooking, fishing, and relaxing at the beach.
